If you think that it’s practically impossible to create and sell a tablet with only $35 of budget in mind – think again! Engineers in India has eventually created a tablet with the $35 budget in mind, whereby this particular tablet has already been showcased by India's Human Resource Development Minister, Kapil Sibal himself.
Basically, the $35 tablet will feature 2GB of RAM, WiFi connectivity, and you can further expand the storage via its microSD slot. Also, the tablet runs on the Android OS, and I’m sure this would definitely delight Android lovers out in the market. And quite surprisingly, the tablet does come with a video out, and there’s even a webcam onboard as well. And according to the government, it seems that they have plans to make the tablet widely available for students and universities by mid-2011, and there’s even talk that they might further subsidize the tablet’s overall price.
