It looks like super-large smartphones are all the rage these days – just look at the smartphones by Samsung, you’d notice an uncanny trend in its size, which is going upwards. Well, large smartphones are gaining widespread acceptance in the global smartphone community, and Micromax wouldn’t want to be left out in the ‘gigantic-smartphone’ race.
In fact, Micromax has unveiled yet another gigantic smartphone, dubbed as the Superfone Canvas A100, which is equipped with a 5-inch LCD screen. The Superfone Canvas A100 is an Android 4.0 smartphone, and Micromax touted the phone as the biggest yet cheapest smartphone around – currently being retailed at 9,999 rupees ($180) off-contract. The 9,999 rupees ($180) off-contract supports 854 x 480 resolution, and comes with 5-megapixel camera, and operates on a dual-core 1GHz processor. It also comes with 4GB of built-in storage space, and a microSD card slot to further expand the storage.
