Leaked information is always good news, as this particular roadmap can give you information on top tech company’s plans for future lineup of their products. And as for Intel, it seems that their recently leaked roadmap shows something called the Sandy Bridge CPUs, and it also seems Intel might be further expanding their lineups of SSDs in the market.
Generally, the future Intel SSD will be further miniaturized, whereby future drives will be based on the 25nm flash process, and you’ll find Intel drives offering up to 400GB of storage space, via a netbook-sized mini-SATA drives.
Also, Intel plans to introduce several range of processors, namely the Core i7-2600, i7-2600S, i7-2600K and i5-2500T. Basically, the K processors will allow you to unlock the multiplier for overclocking, the S which reduces power consumption, and also the T model. Intel also showed their one of their future processor, which runs on just 35 watts of electricity, while having 3.5GHz of processing power – fascinating isn’t it?
