When Apple initially unleashed their revolutionary iPads into the market, the respective tablet created a huge stir, as countless of Apple fans wanted one of these tablets in their arsenal of computing gears. Nevertheless, Acer Inc. Chairman JT Wang has recently proclaimed that Apple’s lead in the tablet market will drop significantly in the future, whereby he predicts that their market share will fall to about 20 percent.
Generally, the iPad is leading the market with a 100% lead in the respective niche market, but Acer Inc. Chairman JT Wang and ASUS have claimed that they are confident in capturing Apple’s market share in the respective segment.
In fact, more computer manufacturers are churning out their iPad-like tablets into the market recently, and I find these alternatives to be somewhat good as it boast better hardware specifications when compared to Apple’s. And with Google’s Android bandwagon shifting its gears upwards, I’m sure that the iPad’s days are somewhat numbered.
